Sun Pediatrics

Happy Thanksgiving Wishes

Holiday break will soon be here and Sun Pediatrics wishes you a happy Thanksgiving holiday. We hope you and your family enjoy some time off and will take time to give thanks. We certainly are thankful to have you in our care and we share this appropriate holiday quote, perfect for the season:

Thanksgiving Day comes, by statute, once a year; to the honest man it comes as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow.

Sun Pediatrics echoes these sentiments; every day is a day for us to say “thank you” for letting us be your pediatric healthcare provider. We are thankful for your trust!

Don’t Forget – Exercise Proper Eating Habits

Certainly, Thanksgiving is a time for enjoying family feasts, a day most of us will set aside our diets! And while it’s okay to indulge for the holiday, just for a little bit, remember to teach your children healthy eating habits. Your good example will help them to be better prepared to maintain healthy weight and grow normally.

Parents should encourage children to understand the benefits of eating right. By modeling these behaviors yourself, your children will learn by watching you. Set the example and your entire family will reap the rewards of eating better and living a healthier lifestyle.
