Choose a Natural Sunscreen for Kids
It’s that time of year again for enjoying fun in the sun in Georgia. And with the increased intensity of the sun this time of year, it’s important to keep kids protected with sunscreen. While any type of sunscreen is better than none, we would like to recommend some options for homemade or natural sunscreen for kids this summer, to keep them safe from damaging rays.
Hopefully this summer will offer all the traditional opportunities for pool trips, beach trips, outdoor camps, sports camps, and a variety of other activities that involve spending an extended amount of time in the sun. While we all love being outside and keeping our children occupied, we also know the dangers of letting our kids get too much sun exposure. We want to be especially mindful of out infants and toddlers who have the most delicate skin.
So as you prepare for the intense summer sun, we have a homemade sunscreen recipe for you to consider, as well as some natural sun screen options that you can purchase at the store or online!
